I probably spent more time making the template for my MA4110 Assignment 4 than I spent on the actual assignment itself.For anyone else who's too lazy to write out the whole hideous text, HERE is the template, courtesy of yours truly and LaTeX.

Listening to
29 Fingers :: The Konk
Turns out that the term "Grade Inflation" is 1) not as original as I thought and 2) quite a long article on Wikipedia.

If anyone realises (or, still reads this undead blog), the Singaporean Government is actually paying us to study- it's called the Edusave awards. Not that much different from the situation in America, is it? It is only here that we are required to write politically correct essays that oppose this method of motivation to study hard while all the while still reaping all the benefits of the exact same scheme.

The Great OS Substitution

Listening to
Waking Up In Vegas :: Katy Perry
1. Seems like people are getting brain dead recently and can't seem to concentrate on doing homework.
2. I would rather starve for a whole day than contribute a cent to fund the school's revamped canteen. (See PHD comics, today's issue)
3. After 4 hours of physics/chemistry olympiad on Tuesday, my brain started to pulsate like a Cepheid variable.
4. Your mother is so mean that she has no standard deviation.
5. (2, infinity), and beyond!

The problem with erm, making good use of resources freely available on the internet is that you sometimes see what you don't want to see. No, I didn't find pr0n or anything, but... the subject matter is equally disturbing.

Sometimes I think I'm overtly moderate, but other times I think I'm really extreme.

Do I really want to become numb?

Listening to
End Creditouilles :: Michael Giacchino
Teachers are the anti-particles to quantum particles- the only time they do anything interesting is when there's someone around to observe them.

Formulate a question, in ten words or less, to determine whether a project is worth funding.

Is something VIOLENT going to happen to a garbage can?
